I would like to list a co co event I would like to hold at my house from
Thursday 3 pm 15 February 2024 to Monday 19th February 2 pm 2024, at The Pumping Station, 1 Mill Lane, Sutton Courtenay, Nr.
Abingdon OXON for up to 15 people.
This is in a large house with a large garden and high decking, on
 a lane leading down to fields and river walks in the beautiful village of
 Sutton Courtenay.  George Orwell is buried in the churchyard here and there
 is also a beautiful ancient Abbey building where there may be events
 hosted. There are river/weir walks, field/stream walks and village lane walks and it is near the market towns of Abingdon and Wallingford which are also on the Thames.
 Cost would be £20  for some heating for the period plus approx. £40 per
 person for food (adjusted at the end of the workshop depending on how much people spend) which would be self catered by participants.   
Group spaces would be the large living room, the smaller living room (has wood burning open fire place and can seat ten on comfy sofas and armchairs and can fit more chairs/cushions), and the bedrooms, plus outside there is a large deck at the sunset end of the house and a smaller deck at the morning sun end of the house, and there are two kitchens.  We will have a ball, as the Americans would say.

Travel Information

The nearest train station is Didcot Parkway which is about 2.5 miles away.  There are buses every hour or taxis or I could pick you up from Didcot station.  Or there are buses from Oxford which is about 12 miles away and you change at Abingdon.

Food

This will be catered by the participants, some people could bring dishes, people can volunteer to offer to make certain dishes at the venue, which is my house. The amount spent by different people will be calculated at the end of the event so that everyone pays the same.

Sleeping accommodation

Accommodation would be one double bed in one room, (would suit a couple) two single beds in a twin room,  a single room (could possibly have another single in there) one on the (flat) couch in one living room, one in a single bed in
 the other large living room,  one on the futon in there (or possibly a couple), and three people in single beds in my motor home (possible four if a couple on
 the high bed.) So 11 to 15  people.  It is a residential house so there will be things in the rooms.

Money matters
Costs of attending: 

The cost of attending is a £20 donation towards the heating costs and a share of the food cost so may total about £50 per person. There is no accommodation cost but please bring your own sheets and/or duvets if possible.  There are some duvets and pillows and linens available.

Payment arrangements

The suggested price is £20 to cover heating costs and a share of the food costs which I estimate might be about £40 per person but it will depend on how much people spend on the food they bring and/or offer to cook.  The cooking and tasks will be shared.

The food amount will be payable/refunded at the end.
